The first garden and edge of peril

On the First Garden rules they say they strongly advise against playing it with “on the edge of peril”, does anyone know why?

How do you actually use the 3 stars class symbol? I’ve played the 2 threat that come with the base game and I’m almost finishing the last throne, I’ve found multiple
arcane energy
cards, but haven’t found anything that uses the symbol :(

Another question about this: after using the crown and taking the 451 cards, during the next actions do I need to draw all necessary cards from the 451 deck? Or can I draw one from there and the others from my regular deck?
