In the 4th scenario the campain Book stated that the Coloumn is north the great lake.
But after a very long search I found it east the lake. Is that intended so? If so why the wrong hint?

Le Great lake has not exactly the same size between your "old map" and in "real life".
I don't think that it's on error in the campain book.
