In the text it asks that you take a 226 card and Banish a 226 card. The expansion added a 3rd 226 card. Should I take 1 and banish 2? It seems like this is in the spirit of what is intended but I'm not sure if this, and I assume, similar situations have been ruled on.

If it were a mistake, it would be added to the errata.

So if I understand the errata has been locked and all mistakes/oversights have been found and addressed? Even though this would not be a mistake if playing with base game materials only, but with the expansion adds some ambiguity that maybe hasn't been addressed. Got it!

No, I mean no mistake currently. Maybe in the future it will be revised. There are plenty of ambguities, even errors (if you check the other threads, some of them years old) but the game designers never engaged, clarified or replied. If you expect an official answer, no chance. So I would say we can only go with the official errata.
